Spra-Cube HE High Efficiency Paint Arrestors

High Efficiency Cube Filter. Maximum Holding Capacity.

The RTT Spra-Cube HE Series is a high efficiency, high holding capacity extended-surface cube filter for high-volume finishing applications that require higher-than-normal removal efficiency without sacrificing service interval length. Using the same 20″ × 20″ × 15″ cube geometry as the SE Series, the HE steps up to Version 2 of the 2-Pocket RP Cube design – delivering a significant jump in average removal efficiency to 99.41% while maintaining the same 3,941 gram (8.7 lb.) paint holding capacity as the Spra-Cube SE series. Independent testing by LMS Technologies, Inc. confirmed these results under standard test conditions.

The HE Series achieves a low initial pressure drop of 0.05 in. wg on a clean filter — low compared to other high-efficiency overspray cubes – rising to just 0.06 in. wg at full load. This near-flat pressure curve means fan load and airflow remain consistent from the first hour of service to the last. Like all Spra-Cube filters, the HE is constructed from multiple layers of RP’s proprietary paper Paint Arrestor media and synthetic backings.

Features

  • Extended-surface cube design: 20″ × 20″ × 15″ three-dimensional geometry
  • Multiple layers of RP proprietary paper Paint Arrestor media with synthetic backings
  • Initial pressure drop (clean filter): 0.05 in. wg
  • Final pressure drop (loaded filter): 0.06 in. wg
  • Paint holding capacity: 3,941 grams = 8.7 lb.
  • Average removal efficiency: 99.41%
  • Designed for high-volume applications requiring higher-than-normal removal efficiency
  • Tested by LMS Technologies, Inc.

Benefits

  • Achieve higher capture efficiency than the Spra-Cube SE Series without reducing holding capacity – the HE delivers 99.41% average removal efficiency while maintaining the same 8.7 lb. paint holding capacity as the SE.
  • Maintain consistent airflow from first use to filter replacement – the pressure differential between clean (0.05 in. wg) and fully loaded (0.06 in. wg) is the narrowest in the high-efficiency cube category, keeping fan performance nearly constant.
  • Reduce filter changeout frequency in high-volume operations – the 8.7 lb. paint holding capacity extends service intervals significantly compared to flat blanket pad filters.
  • Meet higher-than-normal removal efficiency requirements without switching to a flat pad filter – the HE cube delivers high efficiency in the same extended-surface geometry as the SE.
  • Fit the same booth frame as the SE – the 20″ × 20″ × 15″ cube dimensions are identical to the Series SE, allowing direct substitution without structural modification.
