Spra-Cube SE Medium Efficiency Paint Arrestors

Extended-Surface Cube Filter. Maximum Holding Capacity.

The RTT Spra-Cube SE Series is a medium efficiency, high holding capacity extended-surface cube filter designed for high-volume finishing applications where maximizing service intervals between filter changeouts is the primary requirement. Unlike flat blanket arrestors, the Spra-Cube’s three-dimensional extended-surface cube geometry (20″ × 20″ × 15″) dramatically increases the effective filter media surface area within the same booth frame footprint — resulting in a paint holding capacity of 3,941 grams (8.7 lb.), more than double that of the W-Series flat pad filters. Independent testing by LMS Technologies, Inc. confirmed an average removal efficiency of 98.81% under standard test conditions.

The Spra-Cube SE Series achieves the lowest initial pressure drop in the Spra-Cube lineup at 0.02 in. wg on a clean filter, rising to just 0.03 in. wg at full load — an exceptionally narrow pressure differential that keeps fan load nearly constant throughout the entire service life of the filter. Constructed from multiple layers of RP’s proprietary paper Paint Arrestor media and synthetic backings, the Spra-Cube SE Series is positioned as the economical choice within the Spra-Cube family for operations that coat in high volume and require medium capture efficiency.

Features

  • Extended-surface cube design: 20″ × 20″ × 15″ three-dimensional geometry
  • Multiple layers of RP proprietary paper Paint Arrestor media with synthetic backings
  • Initial pressure drop (clean filter): 0.02 in. wg
  • Final pressure drop (loaded filter): 0.03 in. wg
  • Paint holding capacity: 3,941 grams = 8.7 lb.
  • Average removal efficiency: 98.81%
  • Designed for high-volume, medium efficiency finishing applications
  • Most economical option in the Spra-Cube lineup
  • Tested by LMS Technologies, Inc.

Benefits

  • Reduce filter changeout frequency in high-volume operations – the 8.7 lb. paint holding capacity is more than double the holding capacity of W-Series flat pad filters, extending service intervals significantly on busy finishing lines.
  • Minimize fan load variation throughout the filter’s service life – the pressure differential between a clean (0.02 in. wg) and fully loaded (0.03 in. wg) filter is the narrowest in the Spra-Cube lineup, keeping airflow and fan performance nearly constant.
  • Lower the cost per changeout on high-volume lines – the SE Series is the most economical option in the Spra-Cube family, suited for operations that prioritize holding capacity over maximum capture efficiency.
  • Fit the same booth frame as flat blanket arrestors – the cube geometry installs in the standard exhaust filter bank without structural modification.
