Spra-Cube UE Ultra Efficiency Paint Arrestors
Ultra Efficiency Cube Filter. Difficult Coatings. High Volume.
The RTT Spra-Cube Ultra Efficiency (UE) Series is the highest-efficiency model in the Spra-Cube lineup, engineered for high-volume finishing systems that use paints and coatings difficult to filter with standard filter products. Using the same 20″ × 20″ × 15″ extended-surface cube geometry as the SE and HE, the UE delivers the highest average removal efficiency in the Spra-Cube family – 99.48% – confirmed by independent testing from LMS Technologies, Inc. It is purpose-built for operations where filter media performance is critical and standard efficiency products fall short.
The UE achieves an initial pressure drop of 0.05 in. wg on a clean filter – matching the HE – and rises to 0.09 in. wg at full load, a modest increase that keeps airflow and fan performance stable throughout the service life of the filter. Paint holding capacity is 3,798 grams (8.3 lb.), slightly below the SE and HE at 8.7 lb., reflecting the tradeoff between the higher-density filter media required for ultra efficiency performance and raw holding capacity. Constructed from multiple layers of RP’s proprietary paper Paint Arrestor media and synthetic backings.
Features
- Extended-surface cube design: 20″ × 20″ × 15″ three-dimensional geometry
- Multiple layers of RP proprietary paper Paint Arrestor media with synthetic backings
- Initial pressure drop (clean filter): 0.05 in. wg
- Final pressure drop (loaded filter): 0.09 in. wg
- Paint holding capacity: 3,798 grams = 8.3 lb.
- Average removal efficiency: 99.48%
- Designed for high-volume systems using paints and coatings difficult to filter with standard products
- Highest removal efficiency in the Spra-Cube lineup
- Tested by LMS Technologies, Inc.
Benefits
- Capture the highest percentage of paint overspray in the Spra-Cube lineup – 99.48% average removal efficiency under independently tested conditions.
- Filter coatings that standard filter products struggle with – the Spra-Cube UE is specifically engineered for paints and coatings that are difficult to arrest with medium or high efficiency media.
- Maintain consistent airflow as the filter loads – the pressure differential between clean (0.05 in. wg) and fully loaded (0.09 in. wg) remains low and manageable, keeping fan performance stable throughout the service life.
- Extend filter service intervals beyond flat pad filter alternatives – the 8.3 lb. paint holding capacity far exceeds W-Series flat pad filters, reducing changeout frequency on high-volume lines.
- Fit the same booth frame as the Spra-Cube SE and HE – the 20″ × 20″ × 15″ cube dimensions are identical across all three Spra-Cube series, allowing direct substitution without structural modification.
