W-Series 5100 RP Arrestors
99.83% Removal Efficiency. Wet, Dry, or Dusty Overspray.
The RTT W-Series 5100 Ultra Efficiency RP Paint Arrestor delivers a higher level of capture efficiency than the 5000 series by pairing its six-layer expanded paper alternating labyrinth structure with a heavy polyester backing (6 Paper / 1 Poly construction). The added polyester layer increases capture efficiency while still providing ample paint holding capacity. Independent testing by LMS Technologies, Inc. confirmed an average removal efficiency of 99.83% and a paint holding capacity of 1,758 grams (3.9 lb.) under standard test conditions.
Unlike the W-Series 5000, which performs best with tacky or wet overspray, the W-Series 5100 handles low viscosity wet overspray as well as dry and dusty overspray efficiently. This broader overspray compatibility makes the 5100 a suitable choice for operations that coat a wider variety of substrates or use different coating types across production runs. The clean filter pressure drop of 0.03 in. wg rises to 0.15 in. wg at full load – a low and stable pressure differential that keeps fan load and airflow consistent throughout the filter’s service life. Available in pad form (20″ × 20″ single layer, RP Part # W5100) and in roll form.
Features
- Six-layer expanded paper construction forming an alternating labyrinth structure
- Heavy polyester backing upstream of paper layers
- Construction designation: 6 Paper / 1 Heavy Poly
- Extended-surface cube design
- Single pad per layer (number of pads in series: 1)
- RP Part #: W5100 (single layer, 20″ × 20″ pad)
- Available in pad form (20″ × 20″) and roll form
- Initial pressure drop (clean filter): 0.03 in. wg
- Final pressure drop (loaded filter): 0.15 in. wg
- Paint holding capacity: 1,758 grams = 3.9 lb.
- Average removal efficiency: 99.83%
- Performs with low viscosity wet overspray, dry overspray, and dusty overspray
- Tested by LMS Technologies, Inc.
Benefits
- Achieve higher capture efficiency than the 5000 series – the heavy polyester backing increases average removal efficiency to 99.83% across tested conditions.
- Handle wet, dry, and dusty overspray from a single filter media – broader overspray compatibility reduces the need to stock or switch between different filter types for different coating operations.
- Maintain consistent airflow as the filter loads – the pressure differential between clean (0.03 in. wg) and fully loaded (0.15 in. wg) keeps fan performance stable throughout the service life of the filter.
- Extend filter service intervals – a paint holding capacity of 1,758 grams (3.9 lb.) accommodates substantial paint loading before replacement is required.
- Fit a wide range of booth configurations – available in both pad and roll form to match standard exhaust filter banks and continuous roll filter systems.

Selection Guide
- Coating overspray is slightly tacky or wet
- Lowest possible initial air resistance is required
- Fan HP is limited and pressure drop must be minimized
- Overspray varies between wet, dry, and dusty across production runs
- A broader overspray compatibility is needed without changing filter type
- Slightly higher efficiency than the W-5000 is required
- Maximum capture efficiency is required (99.93%)
- High production volume demands longer filter service intervals
- Wet, dry, or dusty overspray is present at high feed rates
