Insulated Oven Panels

RTT Finishing Solutions’ Insulated Oven Panels are manufactured for use in dry-off ovens, batch cure ovens, process ovens, and environmentally controlled rooms. Each panel is constructed from 20-gauge prime aluminized steel and available in 2-inch, 4-inch, 6-inch, and 8-inch thicknesses to match the insulation requirements of the application. Standard panel width is 28½ inches gross – providing a net working width of 27 inches – with lengths available up to 15 feet and custom lengths on request.

RTT uses a tongue-and-groove interlocking system to connect panels during construction. Top and bottom connecting panels use a “knuckle” punch attachment method; tongue-and-groove mating surfaces use a “button” punch. Both methods are applied at the factory, producing a rigid assembly that protects panel cosmetics during installation and creates a tight joint that limits heat escape at seams. Stiffener panels on the top, bottom, and sidewalls are factory-punched to reduce through-metal and minimize heat transmission to the exterior panel surface.

Panels ship in a vertical orientation to allow insulation to be installed into the channel before interlocking during the construction phase. Standard insulation is 4 lb density semi-rigid/resilient material. Higher-density options – 6 lb and 8 lb – are available for applications requiring greater thermal resistance. A powder-coated white finish is available for panels used in environmentally controlled rooms.
