The RTT Limited Finishing Prep Station provides a clean, controlled environment for automotive vehicle preparation and painting in shops where a full enclosed paint booth isn’t required. A pressurization fan draws fresh air from the cleaner upper levels of the shop and forces it down through a ceiling-mounted filter bank near the entry. The filtered air travels through the prep station work area and into a filtered exhaust plenum at the opposite end, where an exhaust fan and stack expel it outside — keeping overspray, dust, and solvent vapors contained and away from the surrounding shop floor.
The standard model (EPS-14-10-24-P-SB-S) measures 14 feet wide by 10 feet tall by 24 feet long, with 5,000 SCFM of airflow delivered by two 18-inch tubeaxial fans at 1.5 HP each. Twelve intake filters and twelve exhaust filters protect both the pressurization fan and the exhaust stack. The hanging intake plenum and exhaust wall plenum are fabricated from 18-gauge galvanized steel. The open layout accommodates full-size passenger vehicles and light trucks.
The design supports easy addition of a heated air makeup unit for temperature-controlled applications. All RTT Limited Finishing Prep Stations meet and exceed applicable OSHA and NFPA regulations. Control panels and electrical components are available as separate purchases, and Goff curtain walls are available as an option to close off the painting area when needed.

Lighting
RTT Limited Finishing Prep Stations ship with four-tube, 48-inch, 32-watt fluorescent light fixtures. Fixtures are ETL-listed for use in spray booths rated Class 1 Division 2 (Groups A, B, C, D) and Class 2 Division 2 (Groups F and G). Each fixture includes a multi-voltage ballast that accepts any voltage between 110 VAC and 277 VAC. Bulbs are factory-installed and tested prior to shipment. Lighting levels are calculated and engineered using photometric software.
Control Panels
RTT offers pre-wired motor starters, UL-listed control panels, VFD controls, and optional touchscreens to simplify operation, fan speed adjustment, and booth balancing. All panels feature a single-point connection for quick and easy installation.
