RTT Finishing Solutions’ industrial wash booths are custom-engineered to meet the surface preparation requirements of each specific application. Every aspect of the design – airflow pattern, material construction, chemical compatibility, and containment – is configured to the exact products and processes used in the washing operation. The result is a rugged, purpose-built enclosure that handles chemical or mechanical washing at production scale.
Airflow in RTT wash booths follows a modified updraft pattern, exhausting moisture-laden air away from doors and openings to control mist migration. Wet duty fans draw the humid air upward through a series of roof-level baffles engineered to condense steam and smaller moisture particles, which drain into a collection system for reclaim and reuse. Washable intake filtration filters incoming air before it enters the spray area, preventing foreign particulate from contacting cleaned parts.
Standard construction uses 18-gauge galvanized steel panels, with stainless steel available for processes that require it. E-Light True LED fixtures provide a minimum of 100 foot-candles of illumination inside the enclosure, with stainless steel E-Light fixtures available to match stainless steel booth construction. All units are fully customizable – sizing, materials, chemical compatibility, and access configurations are engineered to the customer’s process requirements.

Each booth includes E-Light LED lighting, offering:

LED housings are constructed of 22-gauge steel and powder-coated white. E-Lights are ETL listed for U.S. and Canada, rated Class 1 Division 2 (Groups A–D) and Class 2 Division 2 (Groups F & G).
RTT lighting is calculated and engineered using photometric software. E-Light fixtures are ETL listed and designed for proper use in spray booths. Because of this, our E-Light does not require a safety interlock saving on installation cost and additional maintenance.
Control Panels
RTT offers pre-wired motor starters, UL-listed control panels, VFD controls, and optional touchscreens to simplify operation, fan speed adjustment, and booth balancing. All panels feature a single-point connection for quick and easy installation.
