What Is An Automotive Paint Booth?
RTT manufactures automotive paint booths to provide a clean, dust and debris-free environment for the application of paint and coatings to vehicles. From the smallest applications to semi-trucks and larger, all RTT automotive paint booths are constructed from 18-gauge, prime quality galvanized steel and are engineered with corresponding support structure. RTT booths ship with industry leading E-Light LED lighting which provides lower energy usage, exceptionally longer life, truer color rendering, reduced maintenance costs and include a 5-year warranty.

EZ Classic Crossdraft Spray Booth
RTT’s EZ Classic Crossdraft spray booths are designed to produce a high-quality finish in an extremely efficient manner. This automotive paint booth intakes air through filters in the product doors. The clean, filtered air is drawn through the booth and exhausted through a filter system at the opposite end. The EZ Crossdraft booths are offered in solid back, drive through, and reverse flow designs as well as pressurized and non-pressurized.
EZ Modified Downdraft Spray Booth
RTT’s EZ Modified Downdraft spray booths are designed to produce a high-quality finish in an extremely efficient manner. This automotive paint booth intakes fresh air from the cleaner upper levels of the shop through a filter bank located in the booth ceiling, near the product doors. The filtered air is drawn down through the booth to an exhaust filter system at the opposite end. An optional pre-filtered plenum for additional intake air filtration is also available.
The basic modified downdraft design allows for easy pressurization with the addition of an intake plenum with fan or a heated air make up unit. The EZ Modified Downdraft booths are offered in solid back or drive through configurations as well as pressurized, non-pressurized and pre-filtered.
EZ Side Downdraft Spray Booth
An economical solution for shops that are unable to install a pit type booth, downdraft booths intake air from the cleaner upper levels of the shop through a filtered booth ceiling. The filtered air is drawn down and away from the product through exhaust filters at the floor level, along both sides. This provides efficient overspray control that reduces prep time and provides a much healthier workplace environment. An optional pre-filtered plenum for additional intake air filtration is also available.

Additional finishing solutions
Paint Mix Rooms
RTT’s Paint Mix Rooms provide a controlled area for safely mixing paint. Easy to maintain and operate, the product line was developed to provide fast availability and simple installation. Air flows in through the filtered air intake, which is in the ceiling toward one end of the room. It moves downward through the work area and into the exhaust chamber located in the lower opposite end of the room. Filtered exhaust is drawn through the exhaust plenum and is discharged upward into the atmosphere through the exhaust stack, providing a controlled area for mixing paint.
Limited Finishing Prep Station
A premium solution for prepping and painting vehicles, RTT’s Limited Finishing Prep Station draws fresh air from the cleaner upper levels of the shop through a pressurization fan. The air is forced down in the prep station through a filter bank located in the ceiling near the entry. Keeping your shop clean, the air is drawn through the prep station work area into a filtered exhaust plenum at the opposite end and exhausted out to the atmosphere through the exhaust fan and stack. This design allows for the easy addition of a heated air makeup unit.

RTT has designed a Prep Station Exhaust Bench as an efficient and practical method for removing hazardous or harmful toxins generated by refinish, repair and other shop-related operations. Its compact design saves valuable floor space and is made of heavy-duty construction with galvanized steel panels.

DURABLE POWDER COATED WHITE OPTION

BASIC CONTROL PANEL
Motor starters are our most basic and cost-effective option to easily operate the fan on your booth. The motor starter is pre-wired in a NEMA 1 enclosure and is equipped with an adjustable solid-state overload relay and a 4-pole 23-amp contactor. Motor starters can be set up for just about any voltage, phase and HP configuration needed for your application.
TOUCH SCREEN & PLC BASED CONTROLS
RTT offers touch screen controls for our batch ovens, paint booths and powder collectors, allowing for simple operation of your equipment. There are (3) size options to choose from as well as expandable input and outputs, on screen pressure monitoring, precise system information, built-in hour meters, and ethernet communications.
We offer High-quality 18-gauge galvanized steel ductwork and other needed accessories to properly exhaust your finishing equipment. The components come in a wide variety of configurations depending on your paint booth structure and features. Our ductwork construction provides superior protection against destructive elements including corrosion and rust.
FILTERED BOOTH DOORS
Fabricated with a tubular steel frame and hung on structural channel jambs, the doors feature integral filter holding cells ready for filter placement. These doors are provided with a foam rubber seal around the perimeter and a rubber sweep seal at the threshold. The mounting hardware provided includes FM approved panic type safety latches and door pulls.
Exhaust Fan and Chamber
The booth exhaust is routed through the exhaust plenum to the exhaust fan and discharged at the point above the roof height of the building by the exhaust duct. The fan is made of spark resistant material and the motor is located out of the air stream. The exhaust chamber(s) operate(s) under a negative pressure to induce the required airflow through the exhaust filters.
